STEVE Pickup walked away with two prizes at Padiham FC's end of season presentation at the Arbories.

The former Burnley youth team defender was named manager's and supporters' player of the year, while Paul Walker earned the players' player of the year award.

The Storks' Under 17s had the most to celebrate, however, having been crowned Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and District Youth League champions, while the management team of Tex McGinty and John McGregor won the Albert Coward Memorial Shield Achievement Award.

Adam Lee was reserve team players' player of the year, while Lee Corns took the manager's award, and Ash Watson won both A team awards.

For the Under 18s, Elliot Breakes was players' player, and Ryan Baron the manager's choice.

Sam Anderson was named Under 17 players' player of the year, and Chris McEvoy the manager's player.

Luke Gornall was young player of the year.

Bob Clark won the Tommy Helm Memorial Cup, while Jean Helm was club person of the year.

Special helping hands awards were also given out, and thanks given to the ladies who help out in the kitchen and bar on matchdays.
