The Lava and Ignite night club and the Inn on the Wharf, both Grade II listed buildings in the Weavers’ Triangle, are in the hands of the Leeds officer of James A Baker, firm of chartered surveyors in the licensed, leisure and commercial sectors of the property market.
The night club, in Hammerton Street, is freehold and is available for offers, plus VAT. It is described as “A rare opportunity to acquire a landmark building in a unique position on the edge of the town centre.”

The Inn on the Wharf, listed as attractive and well maintained with scope for further development, is under offer. It continues to trade..
Lava & Ignite is owned by the Luminar Group which announced it had closed in February last year.
Its northern regional director Tony Gorbert blamed a long-term decline in footfall in the town centre for the closure, but said it had been a difficult decision.
“If and when local conditions improve we hope to be in a position to reopen the club,” he said. Mr Gorbert thanked staff at the club for their hard work in tough operating conditions.
