Clarets flag flies high after charity challenge
Burnley season ticket holder Dave McDonald conquered Snowden, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis along with Dave Hursthouse in five days, cycling an energy-sapping 422 miles between each mountain.
They were joined by support driver Paul Cunningham who did not cycle with them but completed the 28-mile worth of hiking involved in completing the challenge.

Me and Paul are Burnley season ticket holders. We made Dave an honorary Claret for the trip and so we flew the Burnley flag at the top of each mountain along with an RNLI flag.
“We’re going to do something again next year but after doing something like this it’s going to be very difficult to top.”
