Fire crews cut casualty free from car after Burnley road accident

Firefighters cut one casualty free from a vehicle after a traffic accident in Burnley yesterday morning.

The collision happened on Finsley Gate at 11-37am and two fire engines from Burnley were called to the scene.

Crews, who were at the scene for around 20 minutes, used bolt croppers and a hearth kit to assist paramedics with the casualty who was taken to hospital.
